Zine Workshops

Zine Workshops

Zine making supplies including clip art, paper cutter, glue sticks, scissors, staplers. Interested in zine-making, but not sure where to get started? Anchor Archive offers zine-making workshops to groups for a sliding scale fee of $100-$200. Our workshops are a basic introduction to zines and zine-making skills and ideas.

Zine workshops are particularly relevant to youth but can be adapted to any age group or ability level. Typically participants each contribute a page to a collaborative zine, and everyone receives their own copy.

Workshops can be held in the Anchor Archive Zine Library or at your school, library or community group's space. We also occasionally hold drop-in workshops at the Anchor Archive Zine Library.

Our workshops cover:

  • History and introduction to zines
  • Zine-making equipment
  • How to get ideas for your zine
  • The zine-making process
  • Zine-making resources

Contact us at anchorarchive@gmail.com if you would like to organize or participate in a workshop.
